Brian and Kayla’s Florida spring elopement at Kelly Park Rock Springs was everything couples dream of when they say, “Let’s ditch the rules and do this our way.” From vows by crystal-clear waters to kayaking through Emerald Cut and floating around on a giant flamingo (because, of course), this day was the ultimate guide to eloping Florida-style.
If you’ve been daydreaming about eloping at a Florida spring, get ready to take notes — because this one is full of inspiration. ✨
If you’re wondering whether you can get married at a Florida spring, the answer is yes, and it’s kind of a perfect idea. Springs like Kelly Park Rock Springs offer natural beauty, cool water, peaceful vibes, and a major break from traditional wedding pressure. It’s ideal for couples who want a relaxed, outdoorsy, and uniquely Florida celebration.
Here’s why couples are loving Florida springs weddings:
Learn how to elope at Kelly Park Rock Springs!
Kayla and Brian kicked off their day right when Kelly Park opened to beat the crowds. They each got ready under the pavilion with their favorite song (“There She Is” by The Tutton Brothers) playing in the background. Brian teared up when he saw Kayla. It was so damn cute. Cue the feels.
They had their emotional first look on the deck — Brian cried, and honestly, same. Then we hiked over to the spring head where they exchanged vows on a flat rock surrounded by clear spring water. Simple, quiet, perfect.
After sealing it with a kiss, we headed to a signature rock inside the park where they shared donuts from Dixie Cream. Donuts > traditional wedding cake. Always.
From there, we went straight to King’s Landing for a just-married kayak adventure. They paddled through clear water, snacked under a hanging palm (nacho cheese Doritos for Kayla, beef jerky for Brian), and soaked up the quiet post-ceremony moments.
The plan was to head back to Rock Springs Run and float in the swim area… until a gator had other ideas (yep, it’s Florida). But we still snagged cute photos of them with their very illegal-sized floatie before heading out. Fun fact: floats must be 5 feet in any direction to be allowed in the water at Rock Springs.
To wrap up their adventurous day, K+B made their way to Henry’s Depot for craft cocktails and BBQ. And as we sat and sipped our cocktails, talking about the day, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been a part of their elopement day. 10/10 ending.
