My photography journey started a bit unconventionally: capturing nature while boating, hiking, and hunting with my husband, Caleb. So when I first started photographing couples there were a ton of stiff poses and forced smiles...and it felt so wrong.
That’s when I realized: the best photos happen when you’re having the most fun ever. I went back to drawing board to figure out how I can give couples the most epic date night to help bring out those moments without it feeling like an all day photoshoot, and that's when the AHP elopement experience was born.
Before capturing elopements, I was a materials engineer for a general aviation company - aka, a professional problem solver. All that work figuring out how to unf*ck situations (yes, that’s a technical term) means I’m good at thinking on my feet, coming up with creative solutions, and making sure your elopement is nothing short of legendary. Whatever wild idea you have, I’ll help you figure out how to make it happen. And if we need to pivot on the spot? I’ve got you.
That’s why I love elopements. It's an entire day of living in the moment and having fun.

Caleb and I eloped in Colorado! So I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed with no one to guide you and this is one of the many reasons that I take your experience to heart.
I'm the friend that has an entire trip planned at the casual mention of a vacation. That’s why I get so excited to show you how your elopement could look.
I dip my pizza crust in milk and I will not apologize for it.
As a former chemical engineer, I used to want to open up my own brewery. Caleb and I even started home brewing after college.
I'm pretty crunchy, but have my moments. Like the food industry is slowly poisoning us, but I still love a good road trip RedBull.
I'm hellbent on doing my part for the environment with consumerism being out of control. Recycling, using less plastic, & trash talking people that litter.
