How to Select Images to Print

Selecting the images you want to print can seem like a daunting and overwhelming task…especially if you’re photographer gave you hundreds of images to choose from. But picking your images doesn’t have to be a monumental hurdle! In fact, there are a few tips and tricks that I recommend my couples do to help minimize the overwhelm.

The Favorite Feature

When going through your gallery for a second time, you’re bound to have images that stand out in your mind as absolute favorites! For these images, you should use The Favorite Feature. This Pic-Time feature allows you to create a separate album of favorite images without you having to dig through the hundreds of images in your gallery. Pro tip: I recommend going scene by scene and picking your favorite images from that album alone before moving on to the next album.

To use The Favorite Feature, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create an Account

Navigate to your gallery and enter your name and email when prompted. While optional, I highly recommend keeping the “receive updates and discounts about this gallery” checked so you can see when sales are happening! Inputting your email address will be the only way that Pic-Time knows that these favorites are yours.

Step 2: Select Your Favorites

When you’re ready to add an image as a Favorite, click the heart icon on the bottom lefthand side of the image. This will add the image to your favorites album. If you want to view the favorites album, click the heart icon on the top right of your gallery and a pop up will open showing you all the images. From there, you’ll have the option to download or remove selected images.

But the best part about The Favorites Feature is that when you’re in the Print Shop, each item will have a separate tab (as shown below) for “My Favorites”. This is how you’ll easily be able to pick your images for print or print products!

Step 3: Design Your Print Products

Once all your favorites have been selected, creating your prints and print products become a breeze! Pic-Time makes it easy for you to see what designs will look like with your images. You’ll be able to navigate through the options to swap out colors, designs, and images without any hassle. My personal favorite are the greeting cards!

Step 4: Perfect & Add to Cart!

If you need to adjust your images within the design, you can double click on the image to crop and reposition. Click okay and the new position/crop will be saved. Once the design is perfect, click “ADD TO CART” on the right side of the screen. Then you’re all set!

Make it a Date!

Picking the images you’d like to use for prints and print products couldn’t be easier! The Favorites Feature makes it a breeze, but if you really want to enhance the experience without it feeling like a chore:
