Florida Woodsy Elopement | Emily + Sebastian

This Florida elopement got more than we bargained for when a massive rain storm hit us! But the end result made up for it.

Emily and Sebastian were set to have an epic wedding, then corona happened. Like many of my badass couples, they didn’t let this get them down. They signed their marriage license and are planning an even larger party once things started settling down.

Regardless of the RONA, they wanted some epic wedding photos.

Epic is what they got.

Despite my obsessive checking of the radar, we managed to get the ONE rain storm that was unseen by modern technology. Half way through this session, we looked behind us and saw a WALL of rain coming right towards us.

Of course, there’s zero coverage at this location. We were drenched standing under an info board roof.

I did what any dedicated Florida elopement photographer would do – grabbed my rain coat, covered my gear, and we kept shooting.

And if you ask me, the rain made the photos that much better.
