Gabbie and Ryan’s wedding at the Historic Walton House in Homestead, Florida was straight out of a Florida bridal magazine. LIT-TER-AL TROPICAL PERFECTION. Forewarning: the word tropical will be overused in this blog and I regret nothing since this was pure tropical wedding inspiration.
From the vibrant parrots spotting the scene to the lush floral arrangements at every turn, every detail was perfectly crafted to create the most gorgeous tropical affair – even Gabbie’s dress had details of tropical greenery.
One of my favorite moments was during the bridal party portraits when margaritas were served. Gabbie and Ryan did the classic arm lock because you have to be a little cheesy. Any wedding that serves margs and the couple is willing to be a little ridiculous is my kinda party.
The venue had these cute walkways lined with lush greenery and warm string lights. So during the reception, I stole Gabbie and Ryan for some quick portraits and it was so worth it!
When I asked Gabbie what she was most looking forward to on her wedding day, she responded with “the whole thing”. After seeing it all come together, I would have to agree. The whole thing was perfect.
This blog is dedicated in loving memory to Whitney Nelson.
Also, thank you to this stellar vendor team for making Gabbie and Ryan’s tropical wedding dreams a reality!
