When the bride tells you your photos are her highest priority for her western-inspired Okeechobee wedding, you tear up a little and then you make sure to totally crush it for her!
Naturally, I was super ecstatic when Brittany hired me for her and Tommy’s Okeechobee wedding especially after receiving a compliment like that! Brittany and I met through a mutual friend and she’s always had a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home.
Leading up to their wedding, there was an extremely last minute venue change due to a torrential downpour that flooded the original venue. Brittany kept totally cool and found an equally stellar location that honed in on warm, rustic ambiance – sans mud.
On the day of the wedding, I met up with Brittany and her family. I took some detail shots in their family barn that brought out the rustic vibes of the wedding. We headed up the road to the venue where the ceremony was brought to life by the oak trees and ceremony décor. I took a few moments to scope out the property and find a location that would bring Brittany’s photography dreams to life. I spotted this pasture across the field from the ceremony that was PERFECT. Their western-inspired look was a perfect complement to the old Florida charm of the pasture backdrop.
I am in love with these photos and how they came together. Brittany and Tommy were amazing throughout the whole process and I’m so happy I could give Brittany the wedding photos she’s always wanted. Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers!
