Savannah and Robert’s Hop Life brewery engagement session in Port Saint Lucie was E V E R Y T H I N G.

I’ve known Savannah since elementary school so it’s really cool to see how far we have come in life and see her marrying her best friend.

When she booked with me, she wanted to have a unique engagement session. What better place than a brewery? I mean, there’s beer. What more could you want?

Hop Life had all the things – beer, ambiance, and music. We hung out on the couch, drank some Mother Pucker sours, and cracked jokes.

One of my favorite questions to ask couples is how they met. Savannah and Robert fell in love completely by accident. It was one of those love stories where it was right in front of you all along. Savannah tried to resist for the longest time thinking she wanted something different, but Robert was persistent. Not long after, he finally got his chance and he took it *insert famous Breakfast Club fist pump*. Savannah described their relationship as something so easy and laid back. She called him her favorite person and I totally can see it.

Robert proposed to Savannah on Thanksgiving Day. They were spending the night at a friends house. As they were about to get ready for bed, they started bickering about turning off the lights. Robert told her he had to ask her something first. He pulled out a little box and said “are you ready for this? It’s happening. It’s happening. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?” As Savannah is reenacting this for me, all I can think about is Michael Scott pacing the office yelling “it’s happening! It’s happening!” And you know what? That’s a perfect proposal.
