Andrea and Kevin’s Florida adventure session was nothing short of a perfect way to document their engagement session!
These two spend most of their lives on the water so it only made sense that they wanted to include their boat (and their dog) in their session.
We headed out from Fort Pierce and booze cruised around the Indian River Lagoon. With beers in hand, we cruised around all the local spots and enjoyed the sunset. Toward the end of golden hour, they blew up an air mattress, tied it off to the boat, and let it set sail on the river to get some epic shots!
For their session, Andrea opted for three outfit changes, which I would 10/10 recommend with a boat session. The first outfit – a long white beaded dress – was perfect for the engagement vibe while the shorts and tank were perfect for a more casual outfit. She finished the session in a beaded white bikini that I’m OBSESSED WITH.
My favorite part of this session was during blue hour when they got into the water. There’s something about blue hour water photos that sets a session on fiyaaaaaaaaaa. It just adds a bit of spice to the session that can’t be substituted.
Pro tip – if you’re planning a boat session, I highly recommended to have another person drive the boat so you and your partner can thoroughly enjoy the session and not stress about anchoring or maneuvering during the session.
