Llio and Jack are originally from Wales and met back in university in Cardiff. A mutual friend introduced them, and they hit it off right away. Fast forward a few years, and they’ve become inseparable travelers, foodies, and best friends. Throughout their entire relationship, they’ve loved nothing more than exploring new places, enjoying good food, and spending quality time together—whether that’s on a walk with their dog or just hanging out. After losing both of their dads, they rethought the whole big wedding plan and decided to elope in a way that felt intentional and real.
They chose an Orlando elopement because it offered them tons of sunshine (something I learned we take for granted here in Florida), vintage vibes, and plenty of opportunity to be themselves.
Their elopement started at the Orange County Courthouse, with a first look near the Courthouse Station bus stop. It was intimate, raw, and totally them.
They had their ceremony right outside under the overhang with just a handful of their closest people and I legally married them as a Florida notary. While Florida doesn’t require witnesses, both of their moms signed as a personal touch. After they said their vows, dried rose petals flew from the hands of their family as they walked down a makeshift aisle. It was real, joyful, and their perfect start.

After the ceremony, we hit the streets of downtown Orlando in a vintage Porsche they’d rented for the day (YES PLEASE). We made a stop at Le Belle, a vintage fur store with amazing vibes, and grabbed some portraits along the way.
Next up was the Grand Bohemian for celebratory cocktails and a toast to married life. Heads up – this location requires permission in advance to take photos on-site.
And then? A very Florida twist: Publix.
We were there to grab some key lime pie for a celebratory dessert, but on the way in L+J mentioned they’d never tried a chicken tender sub before, I had to introduce them. While we were waiting on the sub, their favorite love song started playing in the store… so naturally, they danced right there in the aisle.
They ate their subs on the hood of the porsche in the Publix parking lot and we messed around with the shopping carts getting some truly iconic images of them eating key lime pie together.
We wrapped up the day at a fun vintage apartment complex where they popped champagne. The whole vibe was laid-back, fun, and full of love—exactly what an elopement should be and exactly what L+J wanted for their Orlando elopement.

Nope – not if you’re eloping at the courthouse or in public areas like sidewalks. Some places may require one (like the Grand Bohemian) so it’s best to check before you head there. Permit checking and guidance is one of the headaches involved with city elopements, but it’s one of the many things that I help my couples with. Learn more about the elopement experience!
